Music and Art

My name is Robert Lewis, I am the music and arts pastor with Eagles Nest Christian Academy of East Tennessee.  I am married with 8 children and 1 grandchild.  I have been performing live music since 1995, playing in various "cover" bands locally as well as performing original material and have enjoyed a colorful life with music.  I currently perform with "These3Remain" as well as a self titled solo project, both with CD's to be released this year and in April of 2009 I was invited to GMA Week in Nashville, Tennessee attending "the objective" with Tom Jackson Productions and the eXtremeTour2009.  I play piano, drums, percussion, acoustic/electric guitars, bass guitars and sing.  I also compose, produce and engineer recordings.

Music:

I teach guitar lessons of many genres: Blues/Jazz/R&B - Metal/Rock/Punk for beginners to advanced musicians, as well as provide creative ideas for the professional.  My instructions are based on the desire of the artist, from fundamentals of music involving structure and progressions to scales and techniques as well as tips and tricks to performance, production and development of your own style.  From the classics and standards of where music has come from to where the genres of modern music are going to; I provide a simply understood artistic approach for a lifetime of enjoyment through music and arts - either for a personal hobby or as a career.

Art:

I have  developed an easy method of creating apophesque imagery by utilizing any digital camera to capture an image and loading the image to your computer, you then can transform that image into a brilliant piece of art.  I instruct and teach how to create this type of artistic design.  I have available a PDF file with basic instructions on how to get started and will provide any assistance I can via email.
